Fans got more and more excited for The Witch Queen Destiny 2 expansion with every new tidbit of information released by Bungie.
From the release of Void 3.0 to Origin Traits, new weapons, weapon crafting, and more, there's been no shortage of updates regarding The Witch Queen Destiny 2 expansion.
On top of all those things, Bungie gave veteran players more information regarding the Legendary campaign launching alongside The Witch Queen expansion in Destiny 2.
Bungie had previously confirmed the release of a harder version of The Witch Queen Destiny 2 campaign, tailored for players that have a reliable fireteam or are looking for an extra challenge.
It will have tougher enemies, more brutal encounters, and of course, even sweeter rewards. During the 10th February This Week at Bungie blog post, the developers released more concrete information detailing what players can expect once they drop into Savathun's Throne World and experience The Witch Queen Destiny 2 Legendary campaign.
The Witch Queen Legendary campaign - Release date
The Witch Queen Legendary campaign is available in Destiny 2 the moment the expansion releases on 22nd February.
The Witch Queen Legendary campaign - Power Level
Bungie didn't specifically mention a required PL for players looking to tackle The Witch Queen Legendary campaign , with Design Lead Matt McConnell giving only a vague comparison to GM Nightfalls and solo content.
"The Legendary campaign is designed to be harder than a Legend Nightfall, though it is easier than a solo dungeon or running a Grandmaster Nightfall.
Do expect The Witch Queen Legendary campaign in Destiny 2 to be tough for solo players and even if you have a fireteam, as it will scale on enemies and damage required to take them down, though it won't be a 1:1.
One more thing worth mentioning is that The Witch Queen Legendary campaign can't be over-levelled, meaning you will get a PL cap even if you are stronger than required. Finally, all Darkness encounters will have one revive per player only and a shared timer of 40 seconds before an automatic wipe happens.
