How To Get Ahavarion Spear of Lycander Uber Unique in Diablo 4 S1

In Diablo 4 Season 1, there are six new Unique items, both on the Seasonal Realm and the Eternal Realm, for players to uncover. There's one for each class, and then there's the ultra-rare, Uber Unique item called Ahavarion Spear of Lycander.

How To Get Ahavarion Spear of Lycander in Diablo 4

As an "Uber Unique," getting the Ahavarion Spear of Lycander is as difficult as winning the lottery. Luck needs to be on your side, and it could take months before the first actual drop appears across the globe. Via the Diablo 4 Update 1.1 patch notes, Blizzard actually left a dev note stating:

Ahavarion Spear of Lycander is an extremely rare drop. We wish you luck in recovering it from the armies of the Burning Hells.

We say "actual," as some gamers have reported getting the drop without any stats or a name attached. From the item image, it does look like the new Uber Unique staff in Diablo 4, but without any details.

Blizzard has since disabled this drop from happening further. 

To have the best chance of getting this new Uber Unique in Diablo 4, you should know that it can drop from anywhere; the drop chance is just astronomically low. To slightly increase your chances, we suggest running Nightmare Dungeons Tier 31 and above. After completing the dungeon, you get items as a reward, and we've seen many normal Uniques as rewards. Therefore, while the rarest Uniques in Diablo 4 can drop anywhere, you give yourself an additional chance by completing Nightmare Dungeons of Tier 31 or higher.

It is important to note that Ahavarion Spear of Lycander can only drop in World Tier 4 (Torment) difficulty. Another caveat is that enemies have to be level 85 or higher. This is why we suggested Nightmare Dungeons of Tier 31 or higher.

Diablo 4 Season 1 Uber Unique Special Power

While specific affixes are unknown since there has not been one legitimate drop of the new Uber Unique just yet, we do know exactly what the special power is. It is, for lack of a better term, super powerful! Check it out below:

Gain a random Shrine effect for 10-20 seconds after killing an Elite enemy. Can only occur once every 30 seconds.

A random Shrine effect, well, imagine getting Conduit or any other massive damage Shrine. Further, movement speed is increased with all Shrine effects, and judging by the cooldowns and possible 20-second roll on the special power affix; this could be the most powerful Uber Unique in Diablo 4 to date, except for Shako, of course!
