Diablo 4 Hardcore Mode Contest Rules, Rewards, More

Here's everything you need to know about Diablo 4's hardcore mode contest.
Diablo 4 Hardcore Mode Contest Rules, Rewards, More

Blizzard has upped the stake for everyone planning to grind Diablo 4 at launch with a new contest. The first 1000 players to reach level 100 at the game's hardcore mode will have their usernames engraved on a statue of Lilith.

The race to the first thousand in Diablo 4 begins at 4 pm PT / 11.30 pm GMT / 7.30 pm ET  on  1st June 2023, the day of the game's early access launch. The rules are simple. After reaching level 100 on hardcore mode and gaining the "Tempered Champion” title, players must tweet their accomplishment with an in-game screenshot or video that clearly highlights their Battle.net BattleTag with the hashtag "Diablo4hardcore". For a more detailed look at all contest's terms and conditions, check out Blizzard's official website.

Players looking to have their usernames immortalized on Lilith's statue have until 11.59 pm PT / 6.59 am GMT / 2.59 am ET on 1st September 2023 or until 1,000 players have claimed to have accomplished this momentous feat.

Blizzard will contact the 1,000 players who successfully claim the offer within 45 days of the offer period. It's also important to add that the company reserves the right to deny offer claims from players with offensive BattleTags.

Unfortunately, reviewers who got to play the game before launch aren't eligible for the Diablo 4 hardcore mode competition, which is a bit surprising since pre-release reviewers had their game progress wiped out and are starting afresh with everyone else.

Diablo 4 releases on 6th June 2023 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. Players who pre-ordered the deluxe or ultimate edition of the game will have early access to the game from 1st June 2023.
