Diablo 4 Anniversary March of The Goblins Schedule & Rewards

It's been a year since Blizzard unleashed Diablo 4 on us mere mortals on 5 June 2023, and now, it's time to celebrate the day Lilith returned to Sanctuary. For Diablo 4's anniversary celebrations, there's a March of the Goblins events, some free stuff, and the long-awaited return of the Mother's Blessing buff.

Diablo 4 Anniversary Celebration Dates

We are just going to cut to the chase right now. There are some important dates you should mark in your calendar. The first is June 6, 2024. That's when March of the Goblins (more on that later) starts. At the same time, you can also claim free rewards in the Diablo 4 shop.

March of the Goblins ends on June 13, 2024. Free Diablo 4 gifts will be added to the shop until June 12, 2024. You can still claim the free rewards until June 20, 2024.

Diablo 4's March of the Goblins & Anniversary Rewards

You can claim free cosmetic rewards as per the image above, from June 6 to 20, with no strings attached and no Platinum required. Just head into the "Shop" tab after launching Diablo 4 and enjoy.

Now, for the most exciting part, the March of the Goblins event. From June 6 to 13, you'll see a huge increase in Treasure Goblin activity across all regions of Sanctuary. Blizzard gave us a taste with a bit of lore:

Increased Treasure Goblin activity will be present across Sanctuary, with Horadric scholars foretelling the contents of their greed filled bags rumored to be richer than ever before. The townsfolks are predicting that greed shrines will appear with increased frequency, bolstering the riches of these shrewd goblins. Even stranger still, while in Dungeons, Goblins are supposedly appearing in pairs… with some tall tales insisting an even larger pack of them together.

So what does this mean, exactly? Well, when you kill Treasure Goblins during the March of the Goblins events, you'll also get Greater Treasure Bag drops, which include item level 925 gear!

You'll see a tonne more Treasure Goblins in Dungeons as well, and more Greed Shrines will appear. The long and short of it is, during Diablo 4's March of the Goblins event, you'll earn a plethora of loot hunting Treasure Goblins. Just don't let them get away...

When is Mother's Blessing Active in Diablo 4?

This time around, Mother's Blessing will be active for a full 10 days! That's more than double the usual time it is active, giving players a lot of time to take advantage of the great XP and Gold buffs in Season 4. To be clear, it's a 25% XP buff and 50% Gold buff (multiplicative) that stacks with any other buffs like Urn Blessings and Elixirs. 

It is a bit unclear when exactly the 10-day Mother's Blessing buff will start becoming active. Some think it will be on June 6, while others see the "Part 2" portion as an indication that it will start on June 14 after March of the Goblins ends. Mother's Blessing generally becomes active at 10 a.m. PST.
