In Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred Season 7, entitled “Season of Witchcraft,” there’s a tonne of new content, from Witchcraft Powers to Occult Gems and new Unique and Legendary items. With the Season of Witchcraft, Diablo 4 players who own Vessel of Hatred, both on the Eternal and Seasonal Realms, can create new builds by using one or more of the three new Runes, so let’s channel our inner Barbarians and just leap in.

In the Diablo 4 update 2.1 patch notes for Vessel of Hatred specifically, there are dozens of balance changes to Runes as well. Blizzard explains one of the biggest changes, stating that:
To better highlight the unique gameplay aspects of Runewords, we’ve reduced the average cost of Runes, and Overflow bonuses have been added to every Invocation Rune.
The Season of Witchcraft is exceptionally exciting for me, and one of the reasons is the new Runeswords. While the Occult Gems and the Witchcraft powers are seasonal, the new Runes and changes are here to stay, and I can already start forming a new Barbarian build in my head, especially combined with that new Unique!
