The world of Sanctuary is filled with different types of crafting materials players can farm to upgrade their equipment. One such crafting material category is Ores in Diablo 4, in which players must use to upgrade/craft gear at the Blacksmith and Jeweler.
This guide explains everything we know so far about Ores in Diablo 4, including the locations in the world of Sanctuary, how you can get more quickly, some spicy lore descriptions, and more.
Update on 31 March 2023: We've updated this article with the latest on all known Ore Crafting Material types in Diablo 4.
The Diablo 4 Open Beta has now ended and we look toward the game's full launch on 6 June 2023 or 2 June for Early Access.
Please note: The ores information in this article is from the Diablo 4 Open Beta and is subject to change at launch. As such, we will consistently update this article to bring you the latest possible information.
All Ore Materials & Locations in Diablo 4
First and foremost, it is essential to note that you can get some crafting material Ore types from salvaging equipment in Diablo 4. For example, you get 1-2 Iron Chunks from salvaging any weapon at the Blacksmith.
There's also a way to get types of Ore materials out in the open world, across the five main regions of Sanctuary, in dungeons (possibly), and even Strongholds. Basically, players will need to interact with a Vein of the corresponding Ore type to get some crafting materials.
Please note: At the time of writing, it is unclear if there are more plant types and crafting materials to discover—the table below features information from WoWHead. We will update the list as soon as more information becomes available.
Check out the table below listing the Ore crafting material types in Diablo 4, a lore description, and locations you can find Veins in.
