Blizzard has finally announced the third season of Diablo 4, called Season of the Construct. It begins on 23 January at 10 AM PT / 6 PM GMT. Players can expect a new seasonal questline alongside a free and premium battle to unlock Season of the Construct rewards.
In addition, there will be new seasonal dungeons to explore, a new boss named Malphas, Keeper of the Vault to slay, and a fully customizable Spider Construct companion, which will aid in fighting demons and corrupted Constructs.
At the start of 2024, many fans had started to share their concern regarding Diablo 4 Season 3, with many fearing that the latest season was getting delayed amidst silence from Blizzard.
Turns out, the Blizzard team was just taking the much-needed break over the holidays, which explains why there weren’t any updates or the usual campfire chat. Thankfully, the studio’s global community development director soon took to Twitter to negate all rumors and confirm that Diablo 4 Season 3 was on track for launch.
In addition to new story, gameplay, and cosmetic items, Diablo 4 Season of the Construct will also make a plethora of gameplay improvements, including more consistent Helltide spawns, more ways to earn endgame crafting materials, as well as a new Skill Tree Respec mode that lets players edit and preview their skills without spending any resources.
Diablo 4 is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
