Diablo Immortal Gets Important 2025 Content Roadmap Update

Learn what the developers have in store for Diablo Immortal players, including a new Class and Battleground maps!

In mid-December 2024, Diablo Immortal players got to face the Lord of Terror himself in the Shattered Sanctuary, and as we are now in the Epoch of Madness era in 2025, there’s a whole lot to look forward to. We are super excited to jump into the The Writhing Wilds update on 20 March 2025, but that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

The developers recently shared the initial Diablo Immortal roadmap for 2025, and with it, teased a bunch of additional content such as a new class. Blizzard gave us a nice taste of what’s to come, explaining:

Sanctuary is still under threat from within! Villagers of a remote hamlet have reported sightings of peculiar fey and a mysterious prophet roaming the woods—the latter brings Albrecht to mind. Throughout 2025, you’ll uncover their intentions by playing through the Epoch of Madness. This latest chapter will see you journeying to the mysterious and untamed Sharval Wilds, our next new zone, and coming face-to-face with a disturbance in the very land itself.

Below, you can check out the roadmap for Diablo Immortal, with a few teases and ballpark release windows for new events coming our way. Yes, Diablo Immortal is turning three this year, and I suspect we’ll see one of the biggest events to day.

You can check out just some of the highlights as outlined by Blizzard that Diablo Immortal players can look forward to this year:

  • New Battleground Map: Created based on player feedback, this map will offer a well-balanced PvP experience while introducing new gameplay elements.
  • Wynton’s Grand Market Improvement: You’ll be able to trade across multiple server clusters.
  • New Class: While we can’t spoil the secret just yet, we’ll give you a hint: This class is deeply rooted in the Epoch of Madness.

I, for one, cannot wait to learn more. Blizzard has noted that they will update details for Diablo Immortal’s roadmap for the second half of the year (July to December) at a later stage.

Arguably the most exciting addition is the new class, which I suspect to be the Druid. The developers have already given a release window of July to September with the Diablo Immortal roadmap update, so we know it’s not going to release in the first half of the year.
