Diablo Immortal Battle Archive Coins: How To Get & Use

Following the huge Diablo Immortal Age of Falling Towers update mid-way through Season 11, a new featured-filled update comes with Season 12 starting on 13 April 2023. The developer has made a bunch of quality-of-life changes and increased the rewards acquired by those who own the Collector’s Empowered Battle Pass, which is where Diablo Immortal's new currency, Battle Archive Coins, comes into play.

This guide explains everything we know so far about Battle Archive Coins in Diablo Immortal, from how you can get more to where you can spend this new currency and if/when they expire.

Do Battle Archive Coins Expire in Diablo Immortal?

This is probably the most crucial question, so before we get to everything else about the Battle Archive Coins in Diablo Immortal, we just first want to let our readers know that they do not expire.

This means you can use Battle Archive Coins to purchase rewards no matter the Diablo Immortal season you are in. The official confirmation from Blizzard reads:

Battle Archive Tokens do not expire and can be exchanged during any Battle Pass Season. 

Now, let's get to how you can get more Battle Archive Coins and what you can spend them on in Diablo Immortal for Season 12 and beyond.

How To Get & Spend Diablo Immortal Battle Archive Coins

First up, to get Battle Archive Coins in Diablo Immortal, you will need to purchase the Collector's Empowered Battle Pass. As you rank up your Battle Pass, you will earn 100 Coins for each of the following ranks.

• Rank 1
• Rank 10
• Rank 20
• Rank 30
• Rank 40

This means you can earn 500 Battle Archive Coins per season. After reaching Rank 40, you can also use the Battle Archive Coins to purchase the Season Cosmetic offering for other classes.

You can spend Battle Archive Coins in a new Diablo Immortal shop called the Battle Archive Shop. Here, you can use the currency to purchase Legendary Gems alongside a variety of other cosmetic items.

Lastly, the items in the Battle Archive Shop will rotate each new season of Diablo Immortal. Since the Battle Archive Coins do not expire, players can horde them until they see something in the shop that they are interested in, as they are not forced to spend them in the current season.

Remember, players can upgrade from the Empowered Battle Pass to the Collector’s Empowered Battle Pass at any time. If they do, any newly unlocked Rank rewards from the Collector’s Empowered Battle Pass will be automatically rewarded.
