Sounds easy enough for a shot a getting in, right? Not really...

Blizzard is looking for only experienced players and endgame grinders to test out this Diablo 4 beta and its content.

Blizzard explains: "We’ll be using gameplay data to invite a limited number of Diablo players who have recently spent significant amounts of time playing the end-game experiences of Diablo II: Resurrected, Diablo III, and Diablo Immortal."

The developer did not reveal precisely how much time Diablo players need to spend, but we expect it to be a lot.

The final invites go out on 18th November 2022, so if you haven't received an invite to the Diablo 4 Closed End Game Beta by then, you will have to wait until public testing starts in "early 2023".

As the name suggests to most players, the Diablo 4 Closed End Game Beta test is about the endgame experience.

Blizzard explains why an End Game Beta for Diablo 4 is needed: "For many, the end game is their favorite aspect of Diablo - we want to ensure it feels satisfying, and with no shortage of challenging variety to experience across many, many demon-slaying gaming sessions. To achieve this, we’re collecting community feedback early so that it may be integrated into Diablo IV prior to launch."

There will be a feedback tool that participants can use, and four Diablo 4 End Game features will be tested, namely:

  • Paragon Boards - Character growth system after reaching max level.
  • Fields of Hatred - PvP zones where players dispatch demons to collect Seeds of Hatred. Convert this into Red Dust before you are slayed.
  • Whispers of the Dead - Complete tasks across Sanctuary to get Grim Favors. 10 at a time can be exchanged at the Tree of Whispers for some big rewards.
  • Helltide - Region-wide event that becomes available at World Tier Three: Nightmare difficulty. Empowered demons to fight, Cinders to collect and Helltide Chests to open for shiny rewards.
  • Nightmare Dungeons: Nightmare-difficulty dungeons in Diablo IV unlock upon locating your first Nightmare Sigil. Each sigil corresponds to a specific dungeon somewhere within Sanctuary. These sigils will add special modifiers to their dungeon, increasing the ferocity of the hell-servants waiting for you inside and providing higher-rarity loot.

Blizzard also does mention one additional piece of content, teasing a powerful foe: "Take stock of the skills and knowledge you cultivate from playing through these features; you’ll need every tool at your disposal to defeat the Closed End Game Beta’s boss!"

So there you have it, a complete, step-by-step guide to get a shot at joining the Diablo 4 Closed Endgame Beta, the platforms it will be available on, and, of course, the content lucky players will be able to experience.
