Becoming an Immortal member in Diablo Immortal can be a rigorous journey for any player to embark on. But there are a few ways to go about it, such as creating a Dark Clan by joining the Shadows, one of the three factions in the game. If you do so, you set yourself on a straight path to challenging the Immortals.
This guide will show you exactly how to become a member of the Shadows and form your own Dark Clan by recruiting members, so you can work your way up to becoming an Immortal in the Rite of Exile.
How to form a Dark Clan in Diablo Immortal
To become a Dark Clan, players must join the Shadows, one of the three factions in the epic journey of Diablo Immortal. Once they have joined, they will be able to compete with other Dark Clans to become the Diablo Immortal clan.
To join the Shadows, players must partake in the Shadow Lottery, an event that takes place every day at 12 pm, 6 pm and 9 pm server time and lasts for 60 minutes.
You need to visit the Mysterious Patron at the Tavern in Westmarch to enter the Shadow Lottery, then wait and see if you're selected once the 60 minutes have passed.

Once you're successfully invited, the Mysterious Patron will take you to a room behind him where you'll battle 3 guardians before being accepted into the Shadows. After being accepted you are now a Shadow and can begin assembling your Dark Clan.
How to get an Akeba's Signet in Diablo Immortal
Now that you're a part of the Shadows, you will need to invite others to do the same, luckily there is a way to invite them without them also having to go through the waiting process. This is done by using an Akeba's Signet, an item that allows you to invite members to join their clan, the member must however be level 42 or higher.
To get an Akeba's Signet, members who are Shadows must re-enter the Shadow Lottery, winning this time will yield an Akeba's Signet, and you can do this as many times as needed.
The more members you recruit the better as it will improve your chances when challenging the Immortal Clan during the Rite of Exile.
