Blizzard unleashed Diablo Immortal a bit early on mobile devices, with the hordes of the Burning Hells and prospective Nephalem rushing into Sanctuary on 1st June 2022 in certain regions. Some players, however, are running into low frames-per-second (fps) in Diablo Immortal, causing choppy gameplay and generally poor performance.

In this guide, we outline the steps players can take to fix Diablo Immortal low fps and performance issues, as well as certain crashes on Android, iOS and PC.

How to fix Diablo Immortal low FPS & crashes

First and foremost, it is important to check if your gaming device has what it takes to run Diablo Immortal. To this end, check out our articles for Diablo Immortal PC specs and mobile device specs.

If your PC or mobile device has what it takes to run Diablo Immortal, but you are still experiencing slow, choppy performance or a general low frame rate, then we've got some fixes to share.

The official Blizzard Support page for Diablo Immortal has steps you can follow if you experience low FPS or crashes for both Android and iOS devices below the image of Deckard Cain looking all confused.

Diablo Immortal low fps & crashes fix on Android:

  • Make sure the game is up to date.
  • Restart the game.
  • Restart the device.
  • Try clearing the Diablo Immortal app's cache data.
    • Navigate to the Diablo Immortal app settings, press Clear Cache then relaunch the app. If the problem remains, move to step 2.
    • Navigate to the Diablo Immortal app settings, press Clear Data then relaunch the app.
      Note: Clear Data restores the app to its default state. You will not lose any Diablo Immortal progress.
  • Uninstall and reinstall the game.

Diablo Immortal low fps & crashes fix on iOS:

  1. Make sure the game is up to date.
  2. Restart the game.
  3. Restart the device.
  4. Uninstall and reinstall the game.

At this point, it is also important to note that Diablo Immortal has a warning system on mobile devices if you turn up the graphics too high, showcasing if any strain is being put on your device. Lower settings until the bar is green.

For those on PC, well, there are no official fixes for Diablo Immortal crashes just yet. Check out our suggestions below.

  • Make sure your PC meets the minimum requirements.
  • Check out the best PC settings for Diablo Immortal (turn some down if you have a low-end rig).
  • Update to the latest NVIDIA or AMD drivers for your GPU.
  • Make sure Windows is up-to-date.
  • Repair or reinstall your game.
