Diablo Immortal's official release date has been announced alongside a PC version with full cross-play and open beta.

Back in 2018 at BlizzCon, there was an initially poor reception from Diablo fans when Blizzard Entertainment announced Diablo Immortal to the world, thanks to that infamous "don't you guys have phones?" comment. Well, now you don't need a phone! With nearly four years to recover and various tests under their belt, Blizzard has now officially revealed the official release date of Diablo Immortal on 25th April 2022 via a surprising live stream, and that the game will be coming to PC too...

It was previously leaked via the Apple App Store that Diablo Immortal would release on 30th June 2022. Turns out some leaks are quite accurate, as the official release date for Diablo Immortal has been revealed. Here's what you need to know about the Diablo Immortal release date, and cross-play on PC!

Fans of the iconic ARPG franchise, Diablo, will be pleased to know that Diablo Immortal will release on 2nd June 2022.

You can pre-register for both iOS and Android to get Diablo Immortal as soon as its release date rolls around via the links below.

The biggest surprise is that Diablo Immortal will have a PC version, so we guess you don't need to have a phone after all.

Diablo Immortal on PC - Open beta and cross-play

Diablo Immortal's PC version (via Battle.net) will feature both controller support, touch-controllers and mouse and keyboard support.

The game will feature full cross-play and cross-progression between PC and mobile. This means you can play on your PC, and then take your progress on the go with your mobile device.

There will also be an open beta on PC for Diablo Immortal. With exact details to be announced soon. We will endeavour to keep you up to date with the latest on Diablo Immortal and its PC version.

Diablo Immortal tells an untold chapter in the saga, with the game's official story description explaining: "The Archangel Tyrael is presumed dead, and mankind is left to deal with the aftermath of his actions. Fragments of the shattered Worldstone, still embued with great power, are tainting the land. Diablo’s minions hope to harness that power to allow the Lord of Terror to return."
