T1 announces Dota 2 roster and coaches

While T1 has continued to experiment with its roster in recent months, the Korean organisation has officially locked in its line-up for the Dota 2 season.

The completed roster is the same team they registered back in January ahead of the ESL One Los Angeles Major, featuring a wealth of international talent.

Joining Korean player Lee “Forev” Sang-don is Germany’s Dominik “Black^” Reitmeier, Muhammad “inYourdreaM” Rizky and Tri “Jhocam” Kuncoro from Indonesia, and Canada’s Yixan “Xuan” Guo.

Forev joined the team back in August 2019, when TI first announced they would form a Dota 2 team.

To help support their efforts, the roster is getting some big names as coaching staff. Pyo “MP” No-a, who has a long history playing Dota competively, joins as a coach alongside Nicholas “xFreedom” Kelvin Illeto Lim.

The latter previously competed at The International 2012 with Team Zenith, and recently moved into coaching roles.

Choi “cCarter” Byoung-hoon is also joining T1 as head coach, with Hyukin “Xyun” Choi has signed up as a tactical analyst. You can check out the confirmed roster below.

  • Dominik “Black^” Reitmeier

  • Muhammad “inYourdreaM” Rizky

  • Lee “Forev” Sang-don

  • Tri “Jhocam” Kuncoro

  • Yixan “Xuan” Guo

We’ll see the T1 roster in action next for the ONE Esports Dota 2 World Pro Invitational Jakarta qualifier, taking place 14-15th March.
