TI12 Regional Qualifiers 2023 - Schedule & Format

The Dota 2 Regional Qualifiers will take place from 17-31 August 2023. There are six Qualifiers, one for each DPC region (NA, SA, EU West, EU East, SEA, and China). Each will determine the teams proceeding to The International 2023.

Here's the schedule for each TI12 Regional Qualifier:

  • North America: 17-21 August (1 slot)
  • China: 17-21 August (1 slot)
  • South America: 22-26 August (2 slots)
  • Eastern Europe: 22-26 August (1 slot)
  • Western Europe: 27-31 August (2 slots)
  • Southeast Asia: 27-31 August (1 slot)

Each Qualifier will employ a double-elimination bracket format, with matches played as a BO3, except the Grand Finals, which will be a BO5. All matches will be played on Dota 2 patch 7.34.

Unlike traditional tournaments, the Dota 2 TI12 Regional Qualifiers won't feature a conventional prize pool. Instead, the top team(s) from each region will qualify for The International 2023 tournament, depending on the number of slots available. Any remaining teams will be eliminated.
