In Dragon's Dogma 2 at launch, players are running into an issue where they can't use the Advanced Pawn Search feature. This feature allows you to search for specific pawns with the precise inclination, skills, and more you would like, but it is not working properly!

Keep in mind that Capcom can release a Dragon's Dogma 2 update at any moment, fixing the Advanced Pawn Search feature.

At the time of writing on 22 March 2024, we are sorry to say there is no official fix available.

Restarting the game, your console, or your PC does not help alleviate troubles. The developers took to Twitter (X) to explain:

The Advanced Pawn Search feature is currently experiencing some issues. Other pawn search features, such as searching within the Rift and offline searches, are working properly. We apologize for the inconvenience, and have a fix underway for the Advanced Search.

Once Capcom deploys an update to fix the Advanced Pawn Search feature in Dragon's Dogma 2, you will be able to get the precise pawn you would like to have in your party with all the right features! For now, you can still search within the Rift manually and do offline searches for basic, premade pawns.

We will endeavor to update our readers if/when a workaround for this issue becomes available. At the time of writing, Capcom is working on a fix, as the game launched just a few minutes ago.
