Dragon's Dogma 2 PC System Requirements: Minimum & Recommended Specs

Dragon's Dogma 2 could very well be the most visually and technically advanced RE Engine game to date. It features a sprawling open world with a dynamic weather system and unscripted boss battles with gigantic creatures. 

RE Engine is one of the most versatile and well-optimized modern AAA engines around, and Capcom has delivered some of the best PC ports in recent years, such as the Resident Evil 4 Remake and Devil May Cry 5. Dragon's Dogma 2 looks to be no exception, and if you're planning to pick this up on PC, below are its minimum and recommended system requirements to give you an idea of what to expect from the game in terms of performance. 

Dragon's Dogma 2 Minimum System Requirements 

Below are the minimum system requirements to run Dragon's Dogma 2 at 1080p resolution and 30 FPS:

• OS: Windows 10 (64 bit)/Windows 11 (64 bit)
• Processor: Intel Core i5 10600 / AMD Ryzen 5 3600
• Memory: 16 GB RAM
• Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 / AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT with 8GB VRAM
• DirectX: Version 12
• Storage: TBC

As evident, the minimum requirements for Dragon's Dogma 2 are surprisingly low for a modern AAA open world title, requiring only GTX 1070 and RX 5500 XT with 8GB VRAM. These are decent but relatively old GPUs, so you won't have to upgrade yours just to clock in 30 FPS at 1080p.  

Dragon's Dogma 2 Recommend System Requirements

Below are the recommended system requirements to run Dragon's Dogma 2 at 4K resolution and 30 FPS:

• OS: Windows 10 (64 bit)/Windows 11 (64 bit)
• Processor: Intel Core i7-10700 / AMD Ryzen 5 3600X
• Memory: 16 GB RAM
• Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 / AMD Radeon RX 6700
• DirectX: Version 12
• Storage: TBC

Similarly, Dragon's Dogma 2's recommended requirements are fairly decent and put many 2023 AAA titles, such as Star Wars: Jedi Survivor and Forspoken to shame. However, do note that the aforementioned recommended requirements are for running the game at 30 FPS instead of 60. Dragon's Dogma 2 is a fast-paced action RPG, and you would probably yearn for better performance, and the requirements may change accordingly.

Capcom also hasn't confirmed whether an SSD would be mandatory to run Dragon's Dogma 2, but having it should have plentiful benefits.
