There's a lot to uncover in Dragon's Dogma 2, including a vast array of materials with varying uses. But since your carry weight is limited, you'll need to know what's worth picking up, what's worth dropping and, most importantly, what's worth selling.

There are Valuables to be found in many different locations, and they include precious gems and minerals such as Tiger's Eye and Onyx which can sell for a high price. But crafting materials are important in Dragon's Dogma 2, so you don't want to accidentally sell something you might need.

Yes, anything that makes it's way into the Valuables section of your inventory is safe to sell to a merchant. You'll notice that there's a separate inventory tab for Minerals, where anything you can use to craft into something else, or enhance your equipment with, is stored.

This will help you to distinguish between useful items, and ones that are only worth converting into Gold. So, save yourself the backpack weight and sell that Onyx. The good news is that nearly any merchant will take these items off your hands.

It's worth noting that there are some items that have other purposes that find their way into the Valuables tab, such as Seeker's Tokens, which are better offered at the Vocation guild.

Should You Sell Ore In Dragon's Dogma 2?

You might acquire yourself a large amount of Ore, such as Copper Ore or Silver Ore. These materials can get pretty weighty, so you might be tempted to sell them off. But, Ore is used to enhance certain pieces of equipment. While you might not have use for them right away, they're worth holding onto. Therefore, consider checking them into your storage, which you can do at an Inn. Of course, if you end up with a hefty amount of Ore, you could always sell off a few pieces for a quick injection of Gold.
