FC 24 Road to the Knockouts Upgrades Tracker
Just below we'll keep track of any upgrades for the Road to the Knockouts players. So far only one round of fixtures has taken place, so there are no upgrades (yet) but we could see some with the next round of fixtures. If you're wondering why (when two matches have been played in the European group stages so far) it's because only matches that have taken place after September 29th count towards the “Win 2” upgrade.

FC 24 Road to the Knockouts Promo Explained
The Road to the Knockouts Promo celebrates the return of the Champions League, Europa League and Europa Conference League. Players in the competitions will get their upgraded card during the promo. Similar to TOTW, player performances in European competitions can raise the ratings on the cards.
How Do Road to the Knockouts Upgrades Work
As mentioned, every Road to the Knockouts player has the potential to upgrade their stats based on how their club performs throughout the Group Stages.
Here's how it works:
- A RTTK player can earn a +1 In-Form Upgrade if their club gets two victories from the Group Stage games.
- A player can also earn a +1 In-Form Upgrade if their club qualifies for the Knockout Stages of their current competition.
- Certain Uefa Women's Champions League RTTK players will be eligible for an additional upgrade if their club successfully makes it to the Group Stage via the Second Round Qualification matches.

When Will Players Be Upgraded In-game?
Road to the Knockouts upgrades are only based on team performance, so a player doesn’t have to feature in the game (or any games) to be eligible.
Does the Player Have to Play in Order to Receive Upgrades?
Each Group Stage match won after September 29th will count towards the “Win 2” upgrade. With RTTK starting earlier in the UEFA competition cycle, players will have more matchdays than ever before to earn these two wins.
Will These Players Continue to Be Upgraded After the Group Stage?
Road to the Knockouts players do not receive any upgrades during the Knockout Stages. However, RTTK is just the beginning—future UEFA competition campaigns in EA SPORTS FC 24 will offer you opportunities to continue to celebrate the Knockout Stages of the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Women’s Champions League, UEFA Europa League, and UEFA Conference League in Ultimate Team.
What Happens If a Team Places Third and Qualifies for the Knockout Stages of a Lower European Competition?
A player’s team needs to reach the Knockout Stages of their current competition in order to earn the “qualification upgrade”. This means that only players whose teams finish in 1st or 2nd position in their group will receive those qualification-specific ratings boosts.
