For those who are not already familiar, the Team of The Week is a special promo that exists throughout the real-life football calendar. In it, EA Sports FC honors the efforts of the players across all of the leagues featured within the game. With EA Sports' decision to merge the Men's and Women's leagues for Ultimate Team this year, the possibilities of who will be inducted into this promo become even greater.
What Time Does TOTW 33 Release
EA Sports releases their TOTW promos at the same time every week, with new TOTW Squads revealed at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET / 6 PM BST on Wednesdays.
With this in mind, EA is expected to announce Team of the Week 33 on Wednesday May 1 at 6pm BST time. For those wanting to know precisely how long you have to wait until the next TOTW releases, check out the countdown clock below.
How Does TOTW Stat Increases Work
The stat increases are made by EA Sports to reflect a player's stand-out performance in real games over the past week. For example, if England and Arsenal winger Bakayo Sake scores a hat-trick, chances are, he'll get a TOTW card with improved shooting stats. Likewise, if Harry Maguire manages a sensational overhead kick to score a goal, we'd put money on him getting a TOTW upgrade too.
Is TOTW The Same As In FIFA 23
No - There are a few unique changes that are new to TOTW in EA FC 24. More specifically here's what's changed that you need to know:
- All TOTW Players will be rated at least 80+ OVR
- Players from women's teams will also feature in TOTW
- TOTW items can also receive weak foot and skill move upgrades
- All stats or skill upgrades will carry over to a player’s next TOTW version
