We’re now less than a month out from the return of a long missed franchise, and EA Sports College Football 25 rankings week has kicked off with a look at who will boast the most powerful Homefield Advantage when the game first arrives. Just like in-game player ratings, which we should learn about later this week, these rankings are only for launch and could be adjusted in future updates should the season prove them wrong. If you want to win at home in Dynasty Mode, choosing one of the toughest places to play in College Football 25 will make a major impact.
Best Homefield Advantage in College Football 25
The return of the former NCAA Football video game franchise with EA Sports College Football 25 is also bringing back Homefield Advantage in a big way. While Madden 24 included a less significant version of this mechanic, College Football 25 cranks it up to help emulate the challenges of winning on the road for college athletes.
Homefield Advantage becomes more significant if a home team keeps momentum in a game, and the effects can include everything from nonsensical pre-play art to your freshman quarterback crumbling under the pressure. With the start of College Football 25 rankings week, they’ve revealed the Top 25 best Homefield Advantage stadiums in the game. Texas A&M and Kyle Field took the top spot, but there are plenty of programs right on their heels.
Here’s the official ranking of best Homefield Advantage in College Football 25:
Gaylord Family Oklahoma Memorial Stadium – Oklahoma
Doak S. Campbell Stadium – Florida State
Ben Hill Griffin Stadium – Florida
Autzen Stadium – Oregon
Memorial Stadium – Clemson
Neyland Stadium – Tennessee
Jordan-Hare Stadium – Auburn
Williams-Brice Stadium – South Carolina
Michigan Stadium – Michigan
Lane Stadium – Virginia Tech
Rice-Eccles Stadium – Utah
Darrell K. Royal – Texas Memorial Stadium – Texas
Kinnick Stadium – Iowa
Notre Dame Stadium – Notre Dame
Spartan Stadium – Michigan State
Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium – Arkansas
Albertsons Stadium – Boise State
Davis Wade Stadium – Mississippi State
Notably, they did clarify in the reveal that these rankings “are subject to change in future updates.” While they likely won’t be on the move quite as often, this isn’t far off from how Madden ratings change every week of the season.
Even if players were given low ratings earlier in the year, proving their skill in the season can lead to major ratings changes in-game. Should fans and teams manage to prove they deserve a better ranking as this season rolls on, they just might be able to force EA Sports to change the Homefield Advantage rankings.
