While excitement continues to swell for the release of Elden Ring's first DLC, Shadow of the Edtree, Elden players (and all FromSoft fans in general) can now get their hands on one of the most iconic weapons in the franchise, the Dark Moon Greatsword. This weapon is featured in (almost) every FromSoft title to date, and now you can get your hands on it... if you have $500 to spare.

So let's take a look at the details surrounding the life-size replica of Elden Ring's Dark Moon Greatsword currently for sale, as well as where you can get it and what fans are saying about this iconic weapon now available to all Tarnished, Hunters, Ashen Ones, Bearers of the Curse, and Chosen Undead alike.

Just recently, Panda Studio, a company known for creating real-life replicas of famous video game and anime weapons, has revealed that The Dark Moon Greatsword will now be available for purchase. If you haven't grabbed the sword in Elden Ring yet, you can get it by completing Ranni the Witch's questline, and to get it in person you'll need to cough up $459 for its pre-sale that's currently running.

Now, while this price might seem high for a replica, FromSoft fans are ready to risk it all to purchase this beautiful replica. For those who joined the FromSoft family with the release of Elden Ring, you might be unaware of the Dark Moon Greatsword's history in FromSoftware. The weapon has been featured in almost every Souls-like game that's been released, including Dark Souls 1-3, Bloodborne, Demon's Souls, and even the recently released Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon.

The only game that the weapon didn't appear in was Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, but this makes sense given the playstyle of Sekiro compared to the other FromSoft games. Nevertheless, this weapon has history with many fans, and it's safe to say that tons of us (myself included) are giving our budgets a look over to see if we could possibly afford this replica.

As One X user (formerly known as Twitter) commented: "I NEED TO KNOW IF THIS IS LEGIT BECAUSE I’M ABOUT TO SPEND ALL MY MONEY." So with the excitement for the Elden RIng DLC on the horizon and nostalgia bubbling up as you check out this beautiful replica, would you buy it?
