Arriving in the Telvanni Peninsula, you'd be greeted by one of Hermaeus Mora's scholars, Leremil the Wise, at the Necrom Outskirts Wayshrine. Here, players can begin their first Zone Story quest in this location as they initiate their alliance with the Daedric Prince of Forbidden Knowledge.

Fate's Lost Dream is one of the three sub-quests you'll trigger during the Fate's Proxy Zone Story quest should you investigate Alavelis. Once arriving at the location, you can speak to a talking eye, the Watchling named Scruut, who revealed they were sent to this location.

They spoke of a "contradiction in reality" occurring in Alavelis, which saw Daedric Cultists flock to the area. Aiding Scruut may help uncover what had happened in Alavelis and what the cultists were doing in the hopes of finding survivors.
