ESO Necrom PC System Requirements: Minimum & Recommended Specs

A new adventure is coming to Morrowind as the latest chapter of the Shadow Over Morrowind expansion, Necrom, is soon arriving in The Elder Scrolls Online (ESO). Continuing from the Scribes of Fate that launched in March 2023, the interconnected story will see players traversing to two new beautifully designed locations, the Telvanni Peninsula and Apocrypha, to learn more about the Dark Elves and investigate a mystery relating to the Daedric Prince of Knowledge.

According to developer ZeniMax Online Studios, this latest chapter will have a multi-platform release with PC players jumping in-game in early-June 2023. So, before your next adventure begins, we’ve outlined the minimum and recommended PC system requirements to run the ESO Necrom chapter.

All ESO Necrom PC Minimum System Requirements

As PC players will first explore the Telvanni Peninsula and Apocrypha when the Necrom chapter releases on 5th June 2023, players can start checking their PC setup to ensure that the game will run efficiently with its current requirements. This is also a good measure to determine whether upgrades are needed or software updates must be installed before the launch.

  • OS: Windows 7 (64-bit)
  • Processor: Intel Core i3 540, AMD A6-3620 and higher
  • Memory: 3 GB RAM
  • Graphics: Nvidia GeForce 460 (VRAM 1GB) or AMD Radeon 6850 (VRAM 1GB)
  • Sound: DirectX compatible
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Storage: 95 GB available space

For high-performing PCs, you can double-check that your current setup has the best or most suited components to run ESO Necrom. Players can compare the requirements below with the PC specs listed under the System Information to see what their PC is packing.

  • Storage: 95 GB available space

The Elder Scrolls Online: Necrom is part of the Shadow Over Morrowind DLC launching on 5th June 2023 for Mac and PC via Steam and on 20th June 2023 for PlayStation 4|5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. It is available for pre-purchase to receive various special rewards in-game at launch.
