Elder Scrolls Online High Isle is the new yearly expansion for the popular MMO. Fans can expect a new explorable zone brimming with a wide array of new story quests, side quests and activities, two new dungeons, and more. Interestingly enough, the latest ESO expansion also adds a card game called Tales of Tribute.

Card games or mini-games, in general, have become increasingly popular in fantasy RPGs, with The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt's Gwent getting its standalone release. For the latest Elder Scrolls expansion - High Isle, Bethesda have created their own fantasy card game. Whether you're a veteran player or starting afresh, here's our guide, which explains how to start the Tales of Tribute card game in Elder Scrolls Online.

Once you have arrived in Gonfalon Bay, the starting area of the High Isle expansion, head South towards Gonfalon Gaming Hall. You will find its exact location in the screenshot above. Outside the Gonfalon Gaming Hall, you will find a Wood Elf NPC called Bragas. Talk to him to start the Tales of Tribute questline.

Bragas will send you to talk to Master Razhamad, who you will find inside the Gonfalon Gaming Hall. Razahamad will give you an overview of Tales of Tribute, including its history and various tournaments. Once you're done with him, go back and talk to Bragas to get a tutorial for the card game.

Tales of Tribute offers both PvE and PvP experience, and the progress is shared between all characters on your account. Furthermore, you only have to complete the tutorial once to begin playing on different characters.

However, do keep in mind that Elder Scrolls Online does not support cross-play or cross-progression, so your Tales of Tribute progress will be locked on the platform you're playing.

That concludes our guide on how to start playing Tales of Tribute in Elder Scrolls Online High Isle.
