CEO 2018: A guide to Florida's biggest FGC event

Started by community veteran and tournament organizer Alex Jebailey in 2010, Community Effort Orlando (CEO) is an annual tradition for the FGC. It quickly evolved to become one of the "big three" tournament stops of the year along with Combo Breaker and EVO. This year, CEO is moving out of Orlando to the Daytona Beach Ocean Center from June 29 to July 1. As usual, expect the best international FGC talent to show up for a chance at cash prizes and a unique championship belt. Featured fighting game titles at CEO include: Street Fighter V, Injustice 2, Tekken 7, Killer Instinct, Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite, Dragon Ball FighterZ, Street Fighter III: Third Strike, Street Fighter II Turbo, Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2, Capcom vs. SNK 2, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, and Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late[st]. CEO is a major tournament circuit stop for the Capcom Pro Tour, Injustice Pro Series, Tekken World Tour, and the Killer Instinct Pro League.

CEO will feature a classic open-bracket format that's open to pros and amateurs alike. Those players who make it out of their starting pools will progress through more well-defined winners' and losers' brackets until two players make it to the Grand Finals. Official brackets will be available at a later date.

Doors open at 9 AM EDT on tournament days. More details will become available as we get closer to the event.
