New Look At Fallout TV Show Ahead Of April Premiere

One of gaming's most iconic post-apocalytic titles is getting a TV adaptation thanks to Amazon Prime Video. While we've had plenty of teases for the new show, the studio has finally dropped the official trailer — and a release date.

All episodes will be arriving on Prime Video on April 11, 2024, meaning fans haven't got long to wait before taking their first steps out of the vault once more. The trailer gave us a brief glimpse of Fallout's cast, including Walton Goggins  (The Shield, The Hateful Eight), Kyle MacLachlan (Twin Peaks, Blue Velvet), and lead Ella Purnell (Maleficent, Kick-Ass 2).

The trailer showed off just some of the iconography fans will recognize from the games, including Vault 33, Vault-Boy, and the Brotherhood of Steel. Other notable appearances include an organ-harvesting Mr. Handy and a German Shepherd with a strong resemblance to Dogmeat.

The upcoming series is co-created by  Geneva Robertson-Dworet (Captain Marvel) and Graham Wagner (The Office), and developed by Lisa Joy (Westworld) and Jonathan Nolan (The Dark Knight).

Fans will be able to catch the series, in full, when it releases on April 11 only on Amazon Prime Video. In the meantime, be sure to check out the official trailer above.
