Oluso is one of several companions that players can have in Far Cry 6.
How to unlock Oluso in Far Cry 6

Players in Far Cry 6 have the ability to add several companions to their squad. These companions, more often than not, will consist of animals that players will acquire throughout their time traversing the island of Yara. One of the best animal comrades that a player can add to their team is Oluso, a small black panther.

Oluso was somewhat overshadowed by Chorizo, the wheelchair dachshund that was showcased in the marketing trailers leading up to Far Cry 6’s release. However, players shouldn’t overlook Oluso anymore, as it’s extremely cute and can be helpful in some situations.

To make full use of Oluso in Far Cry 6, players can follow the steps below to unlock it in Far Cry 6.

Oluso is defined as one of the Stealth Amigos in Far Cry 6, which is perfect given its black colour and small size. However, as it’s one of the best Amigos players can acquire, the process to unlock it isn’t too simple.

You can begin the unlock process during the Triada Blessings mission, which takes place fairly early on in Far Cry 6. This mission takes place just after meeting Clara and the rest of Libertad for the first time. Follow the mission’s quest marker until you reach a cave, which you need to enter and find notes inside of.

These notes will tell you that you need three relics across the map of Yara. Of course, the locations aren’t given to you in the notes, so you can look below to find each of the relics.

  • Lozania: West of the white Lozania text on the map, there’s a Treasure Hunt called “Ida’s Triada Relic.” Head to this location and you’ll embark on a zipline quest inside of caves to reach this relic.

  • Fort Oro: This relic can only be accessed at night, so wait until dark to visit this location. All you need to do is show up at Fort Oro at night in Cruz Del Salvador and take on the tasks to complete this Relic treasure hunt.

  • La Joya: Southwest of La Joya is a Treasure Hunt called “Mimo Abosi’s Triada Relic.” Go to this location, which is a construction site, and start the hunt through the cave to find the last relic.

After you’ve acquired all of the relics, go back to the original cave you found in the notes in. Interact with the chalk drawing on the floor of the cave, which places all three relics down. This will open a new area in the cave, which you need to walk through.

You’ll find a treasure chest and find a new weapon and Supremo. Shortly after acquiring the weapons, Oluso will jump out of nowhere and attack you in multiple forms. You need to take down all of the multiple forms and Oluso. Once this happens, you can revive Oluso and they will join you as a new Stealthy Amigo.
