FIFA 23 Bundesliga TOTS Vote: Player Predictions and Release Date

Bundesliga FIFA 23 TOTS, when is the team released, who's nominated, how to vote
FIFA 23 Bundesliga TOTS Vote: Player Predictions and Release Date

Voting is now open for FIFA 23 Ultimate Team players to vote for their Bundesliga Team of the Season, with the 16 most voted players earning a TOTS Card.

Whilst usually one of the more underwhelming TOTS releases, this year the Bundesliga promises to offer a huge variety of meta players following one of the most exciting title races Germany has seen in many years. A league often dominated by Bayern Munich, this season has produced incredible stories such as Borussia Dortmund’s incredible title-challenging form and Union Berlin’s meteoric rise from likely relegation candidates to Champions League hopefuls.

So who will make the cut in the Bundesliga TOTS? That's where you come in. Read on for everything you need to know.

When Is Bundesliga TOTS Release?

The Bundesliga is set to be the second major league Team of the Season promo to be released, with the cards being released into packs on May 12th for a week. This will be released alongside the EFL Team of the Season and ROSHN Saudi League TOTS.

There’s no guarantee of any players getting a card, but we can more than likely expect superstars such as Dortmund’s Jude Bellingham, Bayern’s Alphonso Davies and RB Leipzig’s breakout star Christopher Nkunku to be included in the team.

How to Vote for Bundesliga Tots?

Voting for the FIFA 23 Bundesliga Team of the Season closes on April 28th and can be done so on EA’s website here, and allows you to vote for one goal keeper, four defenders, three midfielders and three attackers. The final team will be decided by a combination of online votes and EA’s considerations.

FIFA 23 Bundesliga TOTS Predictions

We've gone with a 18 Player squad for our predictions, but it's worth pointing out that EA seem to be mixing it up in terms of how many players will make each squad.

Defenders

GK Frederik Rønnow

At the time of writing, Union Berlin currently occupy the 4th spot in the Bundesliga, an accomplishment that deserves awards based on the fact it’s their fourth season in the league. Couple that up with the fact they have the best defensive record in the league, and it’s clear Rennow deserves a TOTS card.

RWB Jeremie Frimpong

At just 22 Years Old, Frimpong’s season for Leverkusen has convinced fans he will be a global name in football before long. With rumours of Manchester United and Real Madrid interest, this could be his last appearance in a Bundesliga TOTS.

CB Matthijs De Ligt

De Ligt’s first season has been a revelation for Bayern Munich, with the superstar centre back putting in the dominant performances you’d expect. If they’re able to win the Bundesliga, he’ll have won the Dutch, Italian and German league titles all before he’s turned 24.

CB Nico Schlotterbeck

The first of quite a few Dortmund names on this list. Another young defender, this is his first season in a Dortmund shirt and has produced countless quality performances. This could be a very expensive card if his early One To Watch card is anything to go by.

LB Raphaël Guerreiro

This one’s a toss up between Guerreiro and a certain Canadian superstar, but as far as the starting line up goes we’ll go with another Dortmund player. His 12 assists in 24 appearances give him one of the best assists to games ratios in the entire league.

Bundes_Defenders

Midfielders

CDM Joshua Kimmich

It wouldn’t be a Bundesliga Team of the Season without Joshua Kimmich. A favourite of former manager Julian Nagelsmann and quickly becoming a favourite of new manage Thomas Tuchel, this would mark his 6th TOTS card in a row.

CM Jude Bellingham

The most anticipated name on this list, Jude Bellingham this season has gone from one of the most promising players in World Football to simply one of the best, period. This will be the highest rated card in the team, and most expensive, but for good reason.

CAM Jamal Musiala

From one wonderkid to another, the 20 year old German international is soon to complete his third season in the Bayern Munich shirt and it’s arguably been his best so far. His consistent goals and assists from midfield mean he’s a no brainer to include in this team.

Attackers

ST Christopher Nkunku

The 21/22 season was always going to be hard to live up to for Nkunku, especially when he’d just won Player of the Season. Despite that, the Chelsea bound Frenchman has put in a respectable final season in Germany. His new found striker role has led to 13 goals in the league for Leipzig, proving just how versatile he can be.

ST Randal Kolo Muani

Frankfurt’s league campaign has been pretty forgettable, but Kolo Muani’s performances have been anything but. It’s also worth mentioning his starring role in France’s run to the World Cup final this season. Yes okay he missed a chance to win France the World Cup, but that doesn’t mean he won’t get a shiny blue card in packs.

LW Vincenzo Grifo

SC Freiburg’s chase for a Champions League spot is going right down to the wire, and Grifo’s performances have been key. Already on EA’s radar with two informs, he’s likely to feature on the left wing.

Bundes_Attack

Bench

GK Gregor Kobel

We’re not quite sure if EA are going to be regularly putting in two goalkeepers to each team, but better to be safe than sorry. Kubel has been ever present in between the sticks for Dortmund and could end the season with a winners medal around his neck.

LB Alphonso Davies

Okay so we crumbled and included him still anyway. You’ve got to remember fan votes do count towards this team, and it’s clear than Alphonso Davies is one of, if not the most popular footballers in North America.

CB Danilho Doekhi

It felt wrong only having one player from Union Berlin considering how good of a season they’re having, so here’s one more. The Dutch centre back has made a huge contribution towards Berlin’s incredible defence this season. If he makes the official team, expect him to be towards the cheaper end of the market.

RM Dominik Szoboszlai

A risky choice but again, Leipzig deserve more than just Nkunku in the TOTS. The set piece specialist has been in good form on the right wing this season. This could end up being a moments card for his brace against Stuttgart.

RM Jonas Hofmann

Another right winger, but another very solid season. 10 goals and 8 assists so far for a very average Borussia Mönchengladbach is a great return.

ST Niclas Füllkrug

It’s almost an unwritten rule that the league’s top scorer will get a TOTS card, so in you come Niclas Füllkrug. His two player of the month cards have been underwhelming to use this season, so here’s hoping some good ol’ TOTS boosts to his pace will give him a chance of getting in your team.

ST Marcus Thuram

Another wildcard and perhaps the one we’re least confident on being right about, Marcus Thuram is sitting third in the top goalscorers table at the moment and could potentially sneak his way into the team of the season. If he does, he’ll be the second in his family to get one in FIFA 23, with brother Khéphren in the Community TOTS.
