As football is winding down in most places, EA Sports has let FIFA 22 fans select the most noteworthy players throughout the year to become part of the Team of the Season. Being one of the lucky few chosen for the TOTS has its benefits in FIFA Ultimate Team, including brand-new cards with improved stats for players to collect and bolster their rosters.

Some are obtainable via Squad Building Challenges, which task players with submitting rosters following specific requirements. This time, EA Sports has selected Gil Vicente's Pedrinho to be the recipient of a Team of the Season SBC.

Having spent last season playing in Latvia, the Portuguese midfielder returned to the Primeira Liga with Gil Vicente this season. Initially thought out to be a squad player without much repercussion, the 29-year-old broke all expectations.

In 33 league matches, playing mostly as a centre midfielder and sporadically as a defensive midfielder, Pedrinho netted one goal and assisted his teammates on 14 occasions. Gil Vicente ended the season in 5th place, something not even the most optimistic of fans could've predicted or hoped for.

The only real downside we can think of for the Pedrinho Team of the Season FUT card is its League chemistry link, which is of course the Primeira Liga.

In terms of stats, this card, which features the player as an attacking midfielder (CAM) rather than his usual CM role, is a complete steal for the price of a single Squad Building Challenge.

It reaches a perfect 99 in stats such as Shot Power, Volleys, Long Shots, Jumping, Agility, and Balance. Other highlights include 90 Acceleration, 92 Sprint Speed, 96 Curve, 92 Dribbling, 91 Ball Control, and 97 Stamina.
