When Is Final Fantasy 16 Coming To Xbox Series X?

2023 will certainly go down in history as one of the very best for video games. Plenty of 2023's titles have earned critical praise from reviewers and consumers alike. Final Fantasy 16 is one of those games, having been received very well by players everywhere.

Despite this, there's one problem that Final Fantasy 16 is still facing. Over the years, many Final Fantasy games have been multiplatform releases instead of being a single console exclusive. At the time of this writing, Final Fantasy 16 is only available for the PlayStation 5. But will it be coming to the Xbox Series X?

Although Final Fantasy 16 has sold well, many were surprised that it was a PlayStation 5 exclusive. After all, a few previous Final Fantasy games were multiplatform releases, such as Final Fantasy 13 and Final Fantasy 15. So is Final Fantasy 16 going to release on the Xbox Series X? If it is, it is not likely to be coming out any time soon.

There's an image floating around the internet that says that Final Fantasy 16 is a PS5 exclusive until the end of 2023. So that means that if Final Fantasy 16 is coming out for the Xbox Series X, it will not come out until 2024 at the earliest. If we had to guess, FF16 could come out in the first half of 2024 for Xbox Series X.

The real question is, is Final Fantasy 16 even coming out for the Xbox Series X? Unfortunately, Final Fantasy 16 might not come out for Xbox Series X at all. With the image above, many are assuming that Final Fantasy 16 is coming out to PC and Xbox Series X. But Yoshi-P, the producer of Final Fantasy 16 says "Buy A PS5."

Although he is referring to the PC rumors here, he is saying specifically to people who want to play Final Fantasy 16 should buy a PlayStation 5. As of right now, there is no indication that Final Fantasy 16 will release on Xbox Series X. Xbox Series X owners will have to wait a long time to play Final Fantasy 16 or buy a PlayStation 5 to do so.
