Best Warrior Rotation In FFXIV: Openers, Abilities, & More

Every job in FFXIV has a wide range of abilities that each have their own place in a good rotation. Players wanting to optimize their damage, tanking, or healing must ensure they are performing the right rotation of abilities to ensure that your buffs remain active for as long as possible, and that there's no downtime between attacks.

Warriors take up a tank slot in the party and are responsible for not only using their abilities to absorb heavy-hitting attacks from the raid boss but also to position the rest of the party in such a way as to avoid AOEs while taking into account the need to steal be dealing constant DPS. Some DPS Jobs require access to the rear and flank of an enemy to deal optimal damage, and the tank must be aware of this at all times.

So, if you are curious to learn more, you've come to the right place. This article will cover the best Warrior rotation in FFXIV.

In order to know the best Warrior Rotation in FFXIV, we need to look at several different factors. These include openers, GCDs, buffs, and more. We will break down each step of the rotation below.

Warriors main playstyle focuses on building Beast Gauge. Once full, this allows the Warrior to unleash large bursts of damage on the enemy, making this a great Job as both a tank and a DPS.

For battles that require tight DPS checks, Warriors can be a great way to meet the requirements if you overall DPS party members are slightly lacking. Unlike an alternative Tank Job like Paladin, Warriors can deal a lot of damage as well as mitigate incoming damage from the enemy.
