How To Get The Necromancer Title In FFXIV

There's a ton of content for players to complete and collect in FFXIV, including rare mounts, emotes, minions, and more. Some of these cosmetic items are acquired by beating very difficult pieces of content in FFXIV. Some require the completion of a quest or a series of quests. While others have a less than 1% drop chance in certain dungeons. 

The Necromancer is one of the rarest titles available in FFXIV and will require a lot of work in order to acquire. This article will cover how to acquire the Necromancer title in FFXIV.

How To Get The Necromancer Title In FFXIV

The Necromancer title is acquired by completing Palace of the Dead by yourself. Palace of the Dead is a 200-floor dungeon designed to be completed by a standard party of four players. As you progress through the various floors, enemies become harder to kill while also dealing a lot more damage. It's not strange to wipe to a trash mob after reaching floor 150+. 

As such, you can imagine how hard it is to complete this grueling dungeon solo, especially when a single death will send you all the way back to the first floor. 

That being said, some players have managed to earn this title, and have pointed towards Red Mage and Machinist being great Jobs due to their mobility and ability to kite enemies. Players will need to brush up on the hundreds of pages of community-created guides if they want to Solo Palace of the Dead and earn the Necromancer title.
