Though the game saw a slow but gradual success as it built up a dedicated fanbase, Ubisoft has been quiet regarding news of its sequel, For Honor 2.

For Honor 2 Release Date Speculation

At the time of writing, there is no official confirmed release date for For Honor 2, but in this article, you’ll find all (if any) information that the developer shared, as well as some speculation from Ginx on when we could see it launch.

At the time of writing, Ubisoft has not approved or announced a sequel to For Honor, despite some rumors to the contrary. It's also highly unlikely that it will be any time soon since the original For Honor game has received continual support from Ubisoft, with this year marking the 6th year of content updates. 

Another reason we don't suspect a For Honor 2 release any time soon is that the studio currently overseeing development on the Prince of Persia Sands of Time Remake. Though, we wouldn't rule out the possibility in the future as the game's continued popularity among players makes it unlikely that Ubisoft would try to scrap everything in favor of a new game.

If there is genuinely something in development (or if development kicks off in the future), we can anticipate that it will be compatible with all of the newest gaming consoles, including the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.

At the time of writing this, Ubisoft hasn't released any official statements surrounding this possible sequel. However, some leaks indicate For Honor 2 is at least in some phase of development or conceptualization.

A rumored leak from the beginning of 2021, posted to the GamingLeaksAndRumors SubReddit, listed alleged factions, heroes, and potential game modes for the For Honor 2 sequel. However, this leak feels more speculative and something that a fan would want to see rather than something the developers have leaked. Additionally, because so much time has passed since this "leak" and when this article is being written, it's highly likely we would have seen something announced by now, but it's still fun to speculate, if nothing else.
