Fortnite Reload Elite Series Sets Four-Day EWC 2026 Finale

Fortnite Reload esports duos compete on a brightly lit championship stage in Paris.

Fortnite’s Reload Elite Series touches down in Paris for its EWC 2026 finale, running August 19-22, with 40 duos battling across group stages, a survival round, and a grand final for the inaugural Championship crown, according to the official Esports World Cup site.

Getting here wasn’t quick. The road to EWC ran from January 9 to June 28, funnelling duos through regional Reload Elite Series qualifiers before every single one of the 40/40 slots was officially claimed, per the tournament’s own tracker.

The Schedule

The event unfolds across four distinct stages, each building toward the grand final:

  • Aug 19 – Group A
  • Aug 20 – Group B
  • Aug 21 – Survival
  • Aug 22 – Finals

Full match-by-match timings are listed on the official EWC Fortnite page, and tickets for anyone heading to Paris in person are already on sale.

Who Qualified

The regional breakdown saw Europe send the biggest contingent with 12 clubs, followed by 8 from the Americas (NAC) and four apiece from Asia, the Middle East, South America, and NAW. Confirmed clubs making the trip include Team Falcons, Team Vitality, Aurora Gaming, BIG, FURIA, ONIC, FUT Esports, and PWR, among others. One wrinkle worth knowing: each club is restricted to fielding a single duo at EWC26, and rosters had to be contracted and publicly announced before an April 30, 2026 deadline to count toward Club Championship points, per the official rulebook.
