Bugha’s Late Game Arena and Tournament: Schedule, rules, prize pool, how to register, more

Kyle "Bugha" Giersdorf, the 2019 World Cup Solo Champion, is the latest member of the Fortnite community that will be immortalized in the game via his Icon series set.

Bugha is joining other Fortnite stars, such as Ninja, TheGrefg, and LazarBeam, in becoming a playable character skin in one of the most popular multiplayer games of all time.

To celebrate this special occasion, Bugha and Epic Games are joining forces to bring you a special mode designed for Bugha’s Late Game Arena, a brand new competition that will give all players a chance to prove their skills and earn money.

Here's what you need to know about the event.

Bugha’s Late Game Arena schedule

Bugha’s Late Game Arena will run from 20th July 20 until 28th July, open for everyone to participate.

Bugha’s Late Game Arena rules and format

Epic Games has created a special mode in collaboration with Bugha where they will test players' skills in a unique battle royale environment.

• With your Trio, you’ll drop on the Island while the Storm’s already closing in
• Nine starting inventories are grouped into three-team loadouts
• Each Trio will be assigned one of these team loadouts at random
•  IN Bugha’s Late Game Arena players will earn "Hype", which is unique to this play mode
• The players who earn at least 1500 Hype before Bugha’s Late Game Tournament on 28th July will be eligible to participate in the tournament

Bugha’s Late Game Arena tournament

Bugha’s Late Game Tournament will feature all the best players from Bugha’s Late Game Arenas, who will play against other top players in their region for a chance to earn their share of a $100,000 prize pool.

Players will play a slightly modified version of Bugha's Late Game across two rounds.

Each round will be two hours long with a maximum of 10 matches per round.

In order to participate, all players are required to have 2FA enabled on their Epic account.
