A new batch of Fortnite Seasonal quests called 'Discover The Seasons' has arrived, and players have been asked to claim capture points this week. The quest rewards players with 16,000 XP, which will help them unlock this season's battle pass rewards.

Although the challenge is pretty easy to complete, many players are having a hard time finding the capture points in the game. With that in mind, here's a comprehensive guide to finding and claiming capture points in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1.

What are Capture Points in Fortnite?

Capture Points are a new special gameplay mechanic that debuted in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1. These points allow players to claim POIs and raise their banners in order to earn extraordinary perks, such as the ability to see players' and chests' positions through the walls. Apart from this, players will be rewarded with high-tier loot upon claiming these points, including legendary weapons, equipment, shields, and more.

Capture Points Locations & How To Claim Them

Capture Points can be found in the center of all the POIs in Fortnite Chapter 4, Season 1. Here's the list of POIs in the latest season:

• Breakwater Bay
• The Citadel
• Lonely Labs
• Brutal Bastion
• Anvil Square
• Slappy Shores
• Shattered Slabs
• Faulty Splits
• Frenzy Fields

Once you land at one of these POIs, you will notice a poll with a flag at its bottom. To claim the capture point, stand within the 'capture radius' and wait until the flag reaches the top end of the poll and the timer's countdown is over.

Claiming a capture point requires you to remain within the radius for a total period of 45 seconds. So your position will be exposed to the other players during this time frame. For this reason, it's highly recommended to clear the POI first and then proceed to complete the challenge.
