Fortnite 19.40 patch notes: Spider-Man outfit, Wild Week, bug fixes and more

We are close to the end of Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1, and Epic will be releasing one more update, i.e. 19.40, before the launch of Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2. The patch will release on March 1 globally at 1 am PT / 4 am ET / 9 am GMT.

The servers will be taken down for maintenance before the update is pushed out and will include a bunch of new content along with bug fixes. Epic Games has not released Fortnite 19.40 patch notes officially; however, leaks have revealed the content that is coming to the game, and here's a list of them.

Spider-Man outfit

After the launch of Chapter 3, Epic confirmed that a Spider-Man outfit will be released at the end of Season 1, and they have also teased it by tweeting, "prepare to Swing into the v19.40 update."

Wild Week

Shiina, a reliable Fortnite leaker, has revealed that a new Wild Week will be arriving in the game, and Revolver might get unvaulted. 

Content in tomorrow's update:

- New Spider-Man outfit (Encrypted)
- New Weekly Challenges
- New Wild Weeks
- Maybe unvaulted "Revolver"..?
- More collabs
- Quests related to "The Paradigm"
- Hopefully more "Fortnite Original" cosmetics during downtime? 🧐
- And even more!

Bug fixes

As of now, there are not many leaks about which bugs will be fixed in Fortnite 19.40 update; however, you might expect the following bug fixes:

• The issue where sometimes player outfits will glow with a bright blue ‘hologram’ effect in the lobby.
