How to get the Boogie Bomb in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2

The Boogie Bomb has been an iconic part of Fortnite since the beginning of the Battle Royale, and the item returns to the game in Chapter 3 Season. However, the disco explosion will have some competition before it can stay for good.

Items across the board are known to get vaulted in Fortnite, so the Boogie Bomb has come and gone through the years. It was only a matter of time before the dancing item was brought back into the fold. During the Global Effort Trial, anyone can get their hands on the item.

Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 - How to find a Boogie Bomb

Unlike the Rift-To-Go which will likely be much harder to find, the Boogie Bomb is a Rare item in Chapter 3 Season 2. That means it won't turn up as much as most of the loot pool, such as grenades or meds, but it's not a jackpot either.

Your best bet when searching for a Boogie Bomb is simply opening as many chests as you can. The odds are you'll be able to find at least one bomb in a given match, but because the item is Rare, that won't always be a guarantee.

Like other equipment in Fortnite, the Boogie Bomb is an item that can also be considered floor loot. On top of rolling the dice with a chest, there is also a chance that you will find one sitting in the room next to you. They will certainly appear more often than the Shockwaves or the Remote Explosives.

Supply Drops, NPCs, or vending machines would be the final methods for finding a Boogie Bomb. NPCs themselves always give an item when spoken to, and one of the characters around the island is likely to be storing them in their purchase options.

While it's not ideal, most of the methods come down to luck when looking for the bomb, but finding one is almost a guarantee if you play just a few matches.

The Boogie Bomb Global Effort Trial and voting

Just like the last voting trial with the MK7 and the Combat Assault Rifle, the Boogie Bomb is involved in its own trial. For now, the bomb and the Rift-To-Go have been added to the island for everyone to test and gauge their preferences.

Before long, there will be options to vote installed around the island on boards. Players can spend Gold Bars to cast their vote on which item they like better. Within a few days, the results will come in, and one of the items will stay for the Season.
