Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6: Release date, Battle Pass and what to expect

From a Marvel-themed Season 4 to the Bounty Hunter theme of Season 5, Fortnite continues to evolve. In Chapter 2 Season 5, Epic Games once again provided players with a tonne of new content to discover.

With Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6, we expect nothing but excellence from the developer. Here's what we know so far about Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6, starting off with the release date and possible time.

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6 release date

The Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6 release date window is all-but-confirmed as between 16th and 18th March 2021.

This release date for Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6, which is likely 16th March, is thanks to the in-game Zero Point Battle Pass countdown timer, and the official website noting the Season 5 Battle Pass lasts until 15th March 2021.

It all depends on how long the seasonal update's downtime will last, and how big of an end-of-season event there will be. Generally, the servers go live at roughly 09:00 to 10:00 GMT.

Fortnite Season 6 Battle Pass

The price for the Fortnite Season 6 Battle Pass will be 950 V-Bucks. It will also be available as part of the Fortnite Crew subscription service.

The current price for the smallest V-Bucks bundle (1,000 V-Bucks) will set you back 7.99 USD. As always, there should be a 25 Tier Battle Pass bundle which will cost you 2,800 V-Bucks, if Epic Games continues with the same pricing model. 

There's no indication what content will be in the Fortnite Season 6 Battle Pass just yet but you can expect 100 Tiers of content to grind through.

Fortnite Season 6 content: What to expect

At the time of writing, it is too early to tell which type of theme Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6 will have, or which content we can expect.

With this being said, we can expect a big old end-of-season event before the Season 6 release date.
