The recent release of Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4 includes plenty of new features, accessories, and cosmetic items for you to earn in the Season 4 Battle Pass, including Outfits for Spider-Gwen, Meow Skulls, Twyn, and more.

In addition, you can unlock the skin for the new villainous boss, The Herald, who is responsible for the dreaded Chrome affecting the entire island. This guide will detail how to unlock The Herald Skin in Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 4.

Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4 - How to get the Herald Skin

Every new season in Fortnite features a new boss for you to test your skill. In Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 4: Paradise, this boss is called The Herald (previously known as the Bloom Watcher in last season's trailer).

According to Epic Games' official blog post, “For those devoted to the Chrome, don’t worry: The Herald becomes available to unlock later in the Season!”

As a result, you cannot unlock The Herald yet in Chapter 3, Season 4: Paradise. Instead, you will be able to unlock this character later in the season by completing a set of special quests.

While we don't know what these quests will be, there is some speculation that The Herald will have 600 Health and 600 Shield. You will also receive the Eliminations Text “Player was chomped by the Herald’s Wolf,” which hints somewhat at what the challenge might entail.

The developers have not revealed the exact date The Herald will become available; however, we will endeavor to update this article once we know.

On the bright side, the skin will be a free unlock in the Season 4 Battle Pass. Additionally, the Herald will include the following items: Pickaxe, themed Spray, Cloak Back Bling, and soundtrack.
