Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7 will bring visual improvements for the PC version of the game, and for the first time, the game will have official "Epic" system requirements.

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7 is just around the corner and with the update being so close, Epic Games is slowly releasing some new details on what can we expect from it.

And there is some great news for those of you who play Fortnite on PC, as the game will get a set of visual improvement once v17.00 arrives next week.

According to the announcement, PC players will now be able to enjoy "new and enhanced effects" and "improved postprocessing features and shadow quality."

Once Chapter 2 Season 7 launches, if your Fortnite "Quality Presets" option is set to Epic, you will immediately notice improvements across the board, both in Battle Royale and Creative modes.

New visual improvements will bring enhanced storm and cloud effects and increase the quality of simulation for smoke and liquid.

In practice, this means better-looking explosion and fire effects, as well as cooler Slurp stuff!

Additionally, Chapter 2 Season 7 will bring improved postprocessing features for bloom and lens flares and much better-looking shadows.

Starting with v17.00, High settings will become the equivalent of the pre-v17.00 Epic settings.
