Fortnite Rick And Morty Returning In Chapter 3?

Over the years, Fortnite has become notorious for providing fans with awesome crossover collabs, bringing fan-favorite characters to the battle royale. Now all the way into Chapter 3 Season 3 of the storyline, it's safe to say the title has been heavily populated with many different factions of entertainment. Back in the Chapter 2 Season 7 battle pass, players had the chance to work their way towards Rick and Morty content, including skins and other cosmetics.

The content drop was one of the most well-received to this point, as the comedic cartoon show has become such a smashing success, but some fans missed out on the first drop in Fortnite, and have been wondering when the Rick and Morty gear will cycle back around. It would be the first re-appearance in the Epic Games store for some of the contents, so follow along with this post as we look into leaks suggesting Rick and Morty could be returning to Fortnite in Chapter 3.

Rick and Morty in Fortnite Chapter 3

Back when the Rick and Morty content was first released in Chapter 2 Season 7 of Fortnite, players were only able to unlock a Rick skin along with accompanying cosmetics. The content was available via the battle pass and required a bit of a grind as it was featured in the later levels.

Not long after the initial battle pass release, Epic Games completed the collab when they made a special Morty bundle available for purchase from the Fortnite Item Store. Many fans were quick to jump in and purchase the Morty items, but as is the case with any other store content, the items were only available for a limited time.

Since then, the Rick contents of the Fortnite Rick and Morty crossover have been featured in re-cycles through the Item Store, but the Morty content has only been seen once. That appears set to change, as reliable Fortnite leaker, HYPEX, tweeted out that Morty could be making a return to the battle royale.

This would be a massive development, as the Rick and Morty content (specifically Morty) is some of the most sought after in all of Fortnite. There was no hard release date provided by HYPEX, but the famed leaker rarely misses, so expect to see the content soon.
