If you are a DC Comics fan who happens to love playing Fortnite, then you are in for a treat with the Teen Titans Cup. As previously teased, players will be able to get the Beast Boy skin, as well a couple of other cosmetics early, and for free. Here's what you need to know about the Fortnite Teen Titans Cup, including how you can join in the fun, the format, schedule, requirements and more.

Fortnite Teen Titans Cup: How to join

The Fortnite Teen Titans Cup is a Duos tournament, which means you will need to have a partner who meets the same requirements.

All players on the Duos team must be ranked in the Arena. The players just need to be ranked in the Open League (Division I, II or III) to join the tournament.

To join the Fortnite Teen Titans Cup, you simply head into the competitive tab in-game and join the tournament once it opens according to your regional schedule. 

You need to have Two-Factor Authentication enabled on your account, and your Epic Games account needs to be level 30 or above.

Fortnite Teen Titans Cup: Format & Scoring

As mentioned earlier in this article, the Fortnite Teen Titans Cup is a Duos tournament. Teams will earn points based on the scoring system in up to 10  matches. Matches for the tournament will count only if the match begins before the tournament window closes.

  • Victory Royale: 42 Points
  • 2nd: 36 Points
  • 3rd: 32 Points
  • 4th: 30 Points
  • 5th: 29 Points
  • 6th: 28 Points
  • 7th: 27 Points
  • 8th: 26 Points
  • 9th: 25 Points
  • 10th: 24 Points
  • 11th: 23 Points
  • 12th: 22 Points
  • 13th: 21 Points
  • 14th: 20 Points
  • 15th: 19 Points
  • 16th: 18 Points
  • 17th: 17 Points
  • 18th: 16 Points
  • 19th: 15 Points
  • 20th: 14 Points
  • 21st: 13 Points
  • 22nd: 12 Points
  • 23rd: 11 Points
  • 24th: 10 Points
  • 25th-29th: 9 Points

Each eliminating will also earn your Duos squad one point. There's a possibility of tiebreakers.

Fortnite Teen Titans Cup Schedule

The Fortnite Teen Titans Cup is scheduled to take place on 12th May 2021. This is a one-day tournament that should last roughly three hours.

At the time of writing, no exact times have been provided. Epic Games urges fans to check in-game, as the tournament will take place during different times for the different regions.

 

Fortnite Teen Titans Cup: Prizes to be won 

The top-performing Duos in each region will unlock the Beast Boy skin and other cosmetics for free.

First off, everyone with at least 8 points scored during the Teen Titans Cup will get the “BBRae” Loading Screen.

Check out how high you have to place in each region to unlock the Beast Boy skin and Couch Titan Back Bling for both yourself and your Duos partner.

  • Europe: 1st - 2,625th place
  • NA East: 1st - 1375th place
  • NA West: 1st - 750th place
  • Brazil: 1st - 750th place
  • Asia: 1st - 250th place
  • Oceania: 1st - 250th place
  • Middle East: 1st - 250th

Those who don't play in the Fortnite Teen Titans Cup will still be able to get their hands on the Beast Boy Outfit and accompanying cosmetics once they arrive at the Item Shop sometime on 13th May 2021.
