Following a short downtime, Epic Games has finally released the Fortnite v21.50 update. As per the reports, it’s the final major Fortnite patch of Chapter 3 Season 3 Vibin, meaning the upcoming season is right around the corner.

According to the official patch notes, Fortnite v21.50 unvaults Suppressed Assault Rifle, Suppressed SMG, Shadow Bomb, and Shield Bubble as a part of the Shadow of Phantasm Week. Apart from this, the Impostors playlists have been vaulted once again in the latest update. Keep reading this article to have a detailed look at what’s included in the Fortnite 21.50 update.

Shadow of Phantasm Week

The Shadow of Phantasm Week starts August 30 at 9 AM ET and continues until September 7, 2022, at 9 AM ET. During this time frame, players can use the Suppressed Assault Rifle, Suppressed SMG, Shadow Bomb, and Shield Bubble on the battlefield.

Apart from this, a new set of quests for the Shadow of Phantasm Week has also been added to the game. So make sure to complete them and earn the free rewards.

Even though the Fortnite x Dragon Ball “Power Unleashed” Quests have ended, the Kamehameha and Nimbus Cloud (Kintoun) items are still on the Island but with a lower rate of appearance.

Impostors Playlists Removed

In the v21.50 update, Epic Games has vaulted the Impostors playlists as the development teams shift focus to other Fortnite projects.

Competitive Notes

  • The Shadow of Phantasm Week changes will be included in competitive playlists.

  • Late Game Arena starts later today. Read more in our Late Game Arena blog post.

  • Zero Build Arena has been turned off.

Major Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue in which the Health and Shield bars would not correspond with the actual value remaining after taking damage.

  • Fixed an issue in which the Kamehameha would refill to three full charges when dropped by an eliminated player.

  • The "Dedicated Button" fire mode option on mobile is now working correctly. Unchecking the option will now automatically hide the dedicated fire button in-game if the context allows it.

    • If the equipped weapon/item doesn't support the currently selected fire mode (for example: a melee weapon can’t autofire), the dedicated fire button will still be displayed.

That's all about the changes in the Fortnite v21.50 patch update.
