North America
The North American side of the Winter Royale tournament finalises the following week, with the semi-finals taking place on Dec 11 and the finals on Dec 12. Notable participants include ZexRow, Chap and Vivid of Team Liquid and, of course, Drake's best friend Ninja. There are also some pretty big names missing from the 200 competitors remaining; TSM's Daequan and Hamlinz chose to not bother with the qualifiers, and FaZe have no representation, with Fall Skirmish winners Tfue and Cloakzy as well as third place Nate Hill all failing to qualify. The Winter Royale tournament makes up just one small part of Fortnite's year one efforts in esports. A total $100m has been made available, with the season finalising at the end of 2019 with the Fortnite World Cup. This tournament is set to be absolutely stacked, so make sure you catch what you can and look back on GINX Esports TV to find everything Fortnite Winter Royale.
