Epic Games is getting into the spooky spirit as Fortnite is set for a fright-filled holiday promotion. Check out everything you need to know about Fortnitemares, including leaks on what the annual promotion may hold in store for 2021.
After the recent release of Chapter 2 Season 8, Fortnite: Battle Royale has been as popular as ever with Epic Games continuing to evolve the title. There are already new weapons for gamers to try out, and now it seems like we're set for another in-game promotion.

Making its annual return, Fortnitemares is just around the corner as the spooky season is fast approaching. Last year's Fortnitemares tasked gamers with challenges to unlock loads of spooky-themed cosmetics including the Smash O’-Lantern Pickaxe, Bobo Back Bling, and much more.

Rumours are beginning to swell about what could be expected in the 2021 edition of the event, so here are all the Fortnitemares leaks so far.

Fortnitemares leaks - 2021 edition

While we are still in September, gamers around the world are already speculating as to what Fortnitemares might hold in store. There is no confirmed information from Epic Games as of yet, but we do have multiple years of history to go on.

Last year, Fortnitemares began on 16th October right in the middle of the spooky season. With that, we can expect Fortnitemares to begin anytime from 13th-17th October, which would allow for two weeks of runtime ahead of the 31st.

Popular Fortnite leaker, Hypex, recently posted a tweet containing upcoming Fortnitemares information:

There are suggestions that a new Haloween-themed game mode could be involved as well. This would seem plausible, as Epic Games recently provided gamers with an Among Us mode.

Potential Fortnitemares skins have already been appearing online with mixed reactions from gamers thus far.
