How To Catch Or Collect A Zero Point Fish In Fortnite

Week 14 is the final week of quests in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 and most of the new tasks are fairly easy to complete. One of the quests, catch or collect a Zero Point Fish, can be a bit more elusive than the others if you don't know where to look.

The Zero Point fish has been available in Fortnite for a while now and it's unique compared to the other consumables in the game. It's also only a blue rarity, so it won't be too hard to find one around the map. This guide will outline exactly how to collect or catch one and scratch off the quest.

There are a few different ways to get a Zero Point Fish in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3. In this challenge specifically, you can catch or collect the fish, so it opens up your options. One of the most obvious methods is to use a Fishing Rod, which can be found at nearly any water source or dock in the game.

Some NPCs will also sell a blue rarity Fishing Rod if you can't find one around the map. Use these to speed up the process of catching a Zero Point Fish at various fishing holes. But keep in mind it's still random and it may take a while to find what you need.

Collecting a Zero Point Fish is usually a faster method for finishing this challenge. Perhaps the easiest way to collect one is to search the blue coolers that are scattered around the map. These always contain some fish and berries that are fairly low in rarity.

Sleepy Sound is a great area to open so coolers at a high rate. Not only are there a few surrounding campfires to the south, but as you move farther, more coolers will appear on the path.

Some chests and NPCs will also drop a Zero Point Fish. If you get one from an NPC, you'll be able to purchase one for just a handful of gold bars. When you do finally get the fish, there's no need to use it and the quest is considered over.

However, they are still useful in the current Fortnite season. Not only will they heal you, but you'll get a temporary teleport ability that can throw enemies off your trail.
