Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 sprinkles new life into Epic Games' popular battle royale game, thanks to the updated Unreal Engine 5.1 graphics, a diverse lineup of Battle Pass rewards, a sprawling new map, and plenty more nuances. 

Naturally, there are new characters on the island as well. Some are friendly, some not so much. One of the less approachable types is the Ageless Champion. He's the new boss, who you have to beat to complete the Oathound Questline. As such, here's our guide explaining how to beat the Ageless Champion in Fortnite.

How To Beat Ageless Champion boss in Fortnite Chapter 4

You'll be happy to know that The Ageless Champion is a simple boss fight compared to the Herald in Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 4. Like all the previous bosses, The Ageless spawns with a health bar and a shield bar. In addition, he wields two of the game's new weapons: Shockwave Hammer and Ex-Caliber Rifle.

The Shockwave Hammer can send you flying even from a distance, and the Ex-Caliber Rifle unleashes deadly ballistic blades that will kill you in just a few shots. Other than these, the Ageless has no unique maneuvers you should be wary of.

The best way to defeat the Ageless Champion in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 is to approach him in duos, trios, or quads. The more people there are to distract him, the more chances you have of killing him. When defeated, The Ageless Champion drops the Shockwave Hammer and the mythic Ex-Caliber Rifle in addition to more loot for you to pick up. Plus, you gain 2,000 XP.
