Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1 continues with the addition of new weekly challenges for players to pursue. There’s also a new dynamic weather system that adds tornadoes and lighting to the game, both of which has their own gameplay advantages and disadvantages for the players.

With additions from Spider-Man: No Way Home, Gears of War, and Cobra Kai, it's no surprise that the latest season in Fortnite has had something for everyone. While there has been plenty of new premium content rotating Fortnite's item shop, there has been no shortage of free items either.

Winterfest 2021 recently ended, leaving players with fourteen free unique rewards including, the much-awaited Polar Peely skin and Krisabelle Skin. PC players could also get Blizzabelle skin for free, whereas PS Plus users could get Sultura skin for free.

Thanks to all these new cosmetics obtained via the item shop, battle pass progression or the Winterfest 2021 event, every player’s inventory should be worth flaunting, which gives all the more reason for them to hang on to their current Fortnite accounts. As such, here's our guide to enabling two-factor authentication to improve account security and prevent unauthorized access.

Two-factor authentication increases the security of one's account by adding an extra layer of protection.

Aside from inputting account passwords, players have to enter an additional security code to access the account. This prevents unauthorized access to anyone with the password but not the security code.

To enable two-factor authentication in Fortnite, players have to log in to the Epic Games store via their preferred account. (PSN, Xbox Live, etc).

In the account section, players will find the password and security column where there is the option to enable 2FA.

Players can choose to enable 2FA using a third-party authenticator app, SMS authentication, or email authentication.

The steps are easy to follow, and it shouldn't take more than a few minutes to make your Fortnite account more safe and secure.
